I am Becky Oprean and welcome to my website. In 1987, I was born with Spina Bifida, just two months after my parents
moved to America. Under communistic rule, my parents spent thirty years in Bucharest, Romania.
I am blessed to live in the best country in the world, where I am loved, accepted by the community, and friends.
Unfortunately too many people of special needs and their families are rejected in Eastern Europe and Romania.
The mentality that people with special needs are a curse and not a blessing needs to be changed.
My mother Lidia and I are founders of Becky's Hope Ministry where we have spent several years providing support for
people of special needs and their families.
